Aches and Pains - Active People Get Them

My Ache and Pain Relief Website

Pain Relief is not constantly on mind, it's not my passion. My thought is that, being 55 years old and being pretty active, aches and pains are unavoidable. So why bother with writing about it?

Well, for a while I did have a really sore lower back and pains in my knees.  That goes back at least 10 years when I had some significant discomforts more or less all the time.  Now, for the last three or four years I have been amazingly comfortable.  I still play ultimate frisbee, basketball, volleyball, go to the gym, and run a bit.

What I did was on the advice of a co-worker, a very smart doctor that I work with in our busy city hospital emergency room. He recommended that I stop taking my ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) and instead try just taking aspirin plus a glucosamine and chondroitin supplement.

That sounded OK to me, the motrins were working but I thought that eventually they might bite me in the butt with a side effect or two.

So, I am writing about my good results and I am letting anyone who might be interested in saving some money know that it's probably best to stick with a very high quality formula of glucosamine and chondroitin.  And also, since in my experience "very high quality" translates into "expensive", I am monitoring the marketplace for the best deal on the tested and proven CosaminDS brand of glucosamine and chondroitin.

I also take daily high Omega-3 Fish Oil which can also be costly, and I'll tell you where I am getting the best deal on that as well as my reasons for taking it.
